Be not weary in well doing. A piece of scripture that often rings in my head especially in these weary days. SO much going on with the deaths of loved ones, friends, and associates. People ailing and depressed and needing connection. I want to remember to keep doing well.

I just watched the most recent episode of PBS’ Finding Your Roots with Professor Henry Gates. It was such a good episode looking at the genealogy of Gayle King, Jordan Peele and Issa Rae.

Over my digital life, if I’ve shared anything, it’s song snippets and videos (with Bible scripture verses not far behind). The shares are usually accompanied with the the hashtag MUSICMATTERS but in light of the current conversations finally being had worldwide I’d rather say MUSIC IS LIFE.

Back when I was teaching web design to high school students, I developed a personal website (raquell.net). This was 1998 or 1999 so it was basic - a linked set of pages. One for favorite Bible verses, one for a photo gallery, and a couple others that I can’t remember but it was much like a Facebook page
