Blog Post Ten - Freedom is alot

Sooooo …

We have gone through an intense season of encouraging EVERY of age citizen to vote in this General Election. It was a concerted flex against all of the voter suppression efforts - a concerted effort against the pressure to keep so many ‘zoned out’ of the political process. Personally, I am encouraged to see so many take part. I pray that it awakens diligence to civic matters in a great number of folks. We have to stay engaged learning how government is to work - holding those elected accountable - developing new leaders who will be viable future candidates. This requires us to be moral, ethical and discipled. That’s alot but it’s what freedom requires.
